• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specs
• Familiarity with AWS and ASNT inspection techniques

Responsibilities

• Inspect special track work and materials to Authority drawings and specs
• Verify dimensions, clearances, and quality requirements
• Inspect nuts, bolts, washers, fasteners, shims and related components
• Review drawings, specs and inspection documentation
• Prepare inspection reports and support material acceptance decisions
