Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience in special track inspections or related QA roles.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
Working knowledge of AWS and ASNT inspection techniques.
Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous castings and forgings when applicable.

Responsibilities

Inspect special track work manufactured to Authority drawings and specifications.
Verify precise dimensions, clearances, and quality requirements.
Inspect track materials, including nuts, bolts, washers, steel fastener plates, shims, clips, screw spikes, and related components.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
Identify and document nonconforming materials.
Prepare inspection reports and support material acceptance decisions.
