Qualifications

• Five years of experience in special track inspections or related QA roles.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/specifications.
• Working knowledge of AWS and ASNT inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of ferrous/non-ferrous castings and forgings where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect special track work manufactured to Authority drawings and specs.
• Verify dimensions, clearances, and quality requirements.
• Inspect track materials (nuts, bolts, washers, plates, shims, clips, spikes).
• Review engineering drawings, specs, and inspection docs.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials.
• Prepare inspection reports and support material acceptance decisions.
