Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Special Track Inspector to perform technical inspections of track components for public infrastructure projects. You will verify dimensions, clearances, and material quality against Authority drawings and specifications, and prepare inspection reports.

Ideal candidates have five+ years in special track inspections and familiarity with AWS/ASNT techniques, ASME/AREMA/ASTM standards, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in special track inspections, quality assurance, or track inspection and layout systems.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with AWS and ASNT inspection techniques; knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous castings and forgings where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect special track work manufactured to Authority drawings and specifications.
• Verify precise dimensions, clearances, and quality requirements.
• Inspect track materials, including nuts, bolts, washers, and related components.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials.
• Prepare inspection reports and support material acceptance decisions.
