Southland Industries is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to direct planning and scheduling for major Special Projects. You will shape project processes, drive cost control, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and at least 10 years in mechanical/construction operations, with strong leadership and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent education, training and/or experience.
• 10 years of experience in mechanical construction operations, including industrial and specialty construction experience.
• Knowledge of company operations and philosophy.
• Proficient organizational and analytical skills.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to successfully establish and achieve corporate, group, and project goals.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the overall planning and scheduling of Special Projects.
• Supports the implementation of project management processes, policies, and procedures within the corporate policy.
• Provides inputs on constructability, cost control, and scheduling during planning and execution stages.
• Monitors project performance against plans and standards and escalates issues as needed.
• Supports achievement of short- and long-term goals and alignment with broader company objectives.
• Identifies and resolves project-specific challenges and coordinates with staff and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborates in cross-functional projects and shares operational best practices.
• Supports budget monitoring and cost analysis activities to maintain financial control of assigned projects.
• Identifies staff training needs and supports career development.
