Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Special Events Sales Manager to drive revenue by selling, planning, and coordinating premium events at The Star in Frisco, TX. The role emphasizes superior customer service, strategic prospecting, and strong collaboration with internal teams.

You will develop leads, manage relationships with event planning communities, and ensure seamless event experiences from concept through execution, including post-event feedback and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience and/or training.
• Three to five years of related experience in events or sales.
• Proven ability to generate event revenue and manage client relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local and regional markets and venues.

Responsibilities

• Generate event revenue through targeted sales, networking and prospecting.
• Sell, plan and coordinate all special events with high customer service standards.
• Develop leads and build relationships in event planning, production and promotion communities.
• Monitor industry developments in the special events field.
• Provide Catering clientele with information on menus and company policies.
• Attend meetings and site tours for clients and vendors, and assist with menu reviews.
• Prepare reports on revenue, P&L, recaps and projections for leadership.
• Gather client feedback post-event to assess satisfaction and risk.
