LA Phil is seeking a Manager, Special Events to steward a dynamic donor event calendar across Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, and Beckmen YOLA Center. You will collaborate with Philanthropy, Artistic, Marketing, and Operations teams to plan, execute, and evaluate high-profile occasions that advance fundraising goals.

The role requires 5+ years in special events or fundraising, strong budgeting and vendor management, and a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional donor

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in special events, fundraising, donor engagement, hospitality, project management, or related field.
• Nonprofit arts or performing arts experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute an assigned portfolio of donor, cultivation, stewardship, and engagement events across LA Phil venues and off-site locations.
• Lead planning and production components of signature events (Opening Night, Gala) to support fundraising and revenue goals.
• Develop event plans, timelines, budgets, RSVPs, seating, run-of-show materials, and on-site production.
• Coordinate with Philanthropy and cross-functional teams (Artistic, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Box Office, venue staff).
• Manage vendors and event partners, oversee contracts, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure accurate donor data in Tessitura and partner on gift processing and acknowledgments.
• Provide on-site leadership, mentor staff, and ensure excellent guest experiences for VIPs.
