Job summary

The New York Philharmonic seeks a Manager, Patron Program to lead the Patron Program and Young New Yorkers donor communities, coordinating engagement, events, and fundraising efforts with a collaborative Development team.

You will work directly with donors, supervise a Development Associate, and partner across departments to support outreach, engagement, and program coordination. Occasional evenings and weekend hours are required for concerts and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of development experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, performing arts, or cultural organizations preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Experience with a donor database (Tessitura preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Patron Program and Young New Yorkers donor communities.
• Manage donor engagement and stewardship for a portfolio.
• Support fundraising communications across programs.
• Plan and support donor events and experiences.
• Help deliver a welcoming donor experience at concerts and events.
• Supervise a Development Associate and support program coordination.
• Partner across Development on outreach and engagement efforts.
• Support administrative and database tasks as needed.
