Job summary

Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Space Systems to lead multiple development programs from proposal through volume production. You will coordinate engineering, operations, finance, and contracts to deliver on budget and schedule while advocating for the customer.

A Bachelor's in engineering and 15+ years in program management are required; PMP preferred. DoD/Aerospace experience and readiness to obtain security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 15+ years of program management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or related technical field preferred.
• Experience with Additive Manufacturing is a plus.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of operations including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
• Excellent communication with all levels including vendors and customers.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Create and release project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgets.
• Create and maintain project Integrated Master Schedule.
• Facilitate IPD process compliance with design reviews and gate reviews.
• Lead weekly internal and customer meetings with documented minutes and action items.
• Prepare Monthly Program Review materials and present to executives.
• Achieve cost, design-to-cost, and schedule performance within budget.
• Review and create material and labor plans and cost reports.
• Resolve and coordinate project cost, schedule, and technical issues.
• Monitor and control project scope; escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
