Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Systems Modeling & Simulation Specialist (Senior Project Leader) to support the NRO Systems Engineering Division. The role involves advising customers, directing cross-functional teams, and guiding space-domain modeling efforts across phenomenologies, with focus on data transport, resiliency, and security.

Required qualifications include a STEM degree and 12+ years of modeling and simulation experience, plus ability to lead architecture-level studies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's OR Advanced degree in STEM field.
• At least 12 years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary modeling and simulation.
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation principles applicable to space systems.
• Experience leading teams to conduct architecture-level modeling and simulation studies.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to government customers to provide recommendations and review analysis.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Conduct independent and collaborative deep dives, trade studies, and assessments.
• Leverage engineering analysis tools to deliver technical insights through analyses, trade studies, and assessments.
