Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a PNT Modeling & Simulation Senior Engineering Specialist to lead the development and use of advanced simulation tools for navigation and positioning systems. This on-site role requires coordinating with government and industry partners to deliver rigorous analyses and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• B.S degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive relevant academic, professional, technical work experience.
• Proficiency with Python, C++, Fortran, or MATLAB.
• Leadership, accountability, and adaptability to customer expectations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical advisor for department and subdivision management and staff in PNT architecture and geolocation.
• Collaborate with government and industry partners to provide technical analyses and recommendations.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams for R&D and acquisition decisions for navigation systems.
• Oversee development and sustainment of modeling and simulation tools.
• Mentor junior staff and develop training for department capabilities.
• Develop and present technically accurate analyses and reports to leads and customers.
