Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Systems Engineer 3/4 to define, decompose, and validate requirements for Ground Segment of a Spacecraft System. You will perform system performance and interface analysis, manage MBSE documentation, and drive software qualification within a model-based environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining baselines, cascading requirements to ground elements, and contributing to ICDs while coordinating with C2, mission management, and system

Qualifications

Experience with software ground systems for space missions.
Experience with requirements flow-down, management, and traceability.
Experience defining/managing interfaces and contributing to ICDs.
Familiarity with MBSE concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ground element specifications and MBSE-based requirements/traceability.
Flow down requirements from host/segment-level specs to assigned ground element.
Define and manage interfaces; provide input to ICDs.
Participate in architecture and implementation trades and support verification.
