The role covers end-to-end concept definition for NASA, government, and commercial customers; work spans hardware, software, and mission operations; onsite or remote work is possible.

The candidate will translate requirements into actionable architectures and contribute to programmatics such as schedules and budgets in a highly collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline; 5–10 years experience.
• Experience in space system development, systems engineering, or related areas.
• Experience authoring proposals and external presentations.
• Experience decomposing mission and system-level requirements.
• Knowledge of launch, space, and lunar environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft concepts.
• Create technical content for proposals and external customer presentations.
• Define system-level technical vision linking customer needs to solutions.
• Perform trade studies and system-level analyses for MELs/PELs.
• Manage mission concepts, OPS, requirements, and risk mitigation plans.
