Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Strategic Planner at Level 3 or 4 to lead sector-level strategy, investment planning, and related efforts. The role partners with technology and business teams to align objectives with funding needs and develops investment plans using data and financial analyses.
The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, executive-level briefing skills, and refinement of long-range strategic plans, with the possibility of location in multiple sites
Qualifications
- Three or more years in strategic planning, portfolio development, or strategic assessment.
- Experience creating executive-level briefing and presentation content.
- Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Experience with internal ERP systems and IBM Cognos (NGFP).
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience in aerospace/space industry strategy is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to understand strategies, pipelines, and investment needs.
- Develop investment plans using data analyses and financial modeling.
- Communicate investment strategy to corporate and sector executives.
- Manage LRSP budgets and support investment reviews.
- Support ongoing refinement of SIMPL and RDIS platform tools.
- Lead cross-functional investment planning and process improvements.
