Job summary

Rocket Lab in Littleton, CO seeks a Senior Software Engineer I – Customer Solutions to bridge customer needs with engineering capabilities. You will support the Business Development organization, deliver internal leadership materials, and help shape product demonstrations and proposals for new business opportunities.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in aerospace engineering, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
5+ years of professional experience in an engineering role within the aerospace industry.
US citizenship is required, due to program requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers with the engineering team.
Develop interactive demonstrations of Rocket Lab’s space software products.
Generate proposals for new business opportunities with BD and engineering teams.
Lead efforts to attract new business to established products.
Monitor business performance, forecast demand, and present to Finance and Executives.
Collaborate with Communications and Business Development on marketing materials.
Improve and standardize customer-facing product documentation.
Stay current on satellite markets to support pricing and roadmap planning.
Travel to conferences and customer locations for BD activities.
