Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Littleton, CO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II - Customer Solutions to serve as the primary bridge between customers and Rocket Lab’s engineering teams. You will support the Business Development organization with deliverables for leadership, the board, and investors.

You will contribute by developing product demos, generating proposals, and driving demand for Rocket Lab’s space software products while aligning with pricing and roadmap goals.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience in an engineering role within the aerospace industry.
• US citizenship is required for program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers with the engineering team.
• Develop interactive demonstrations of Rocket Lab’s space software products.
• Generate proposals for new business opportunities with BD and engineering teams.
• Lead efforts to attract new business to established products.
• Monitor business performance, forecast demand, and present to Finance and Executives.
• Collaborate with Communications and BD teams to create marketing materials.
• Improve and standardize customer-facing product documentation.
• Stay informed on satellite market trends to support forecasting and roadmap.
