Job summary

Trident Systems is seeking a hands-on Program Manager to lead complex space electronics programs from development through production in Fairfax, VA. You will own performance across cost, schedule, and risk and serve as the primary interface to customers, coordinating with a Lead Systems Engineer to drive technical execution.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years of relevant aerospace program experience, a PMP, and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 9+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience managing space or aerospace programs, including electronic systems or hardware development.
• Proven success managing government FAR-based contracts with multiple CLINs.
• PMI PMP certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more space flight programs from development through production.
• Own cost, schedule, and risk performance.
• Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with critical path and milestones.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Finance.
• Mentor and develop other Program Managers within the PMO.
