Job summary

Trident is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead space electronics programs from development through production, owning cost, schedule, and risk while interfacing with customers. You will partner with a Lead Systems Engineer to drive technical execution and deliver structured programs in a dynamic hardware environment.

The role requires extensive experience in government contracts, PMP certification, and strong proficiency with MS Project and Office tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 12+ years, or Master’s with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing space or aerospace programs, ideally hardware development.
  • Proven success managing government programs (FAR-based contracts, multiple CLINs).
  • Strong background in program financials, planning, and execution.
  • Experience leading product development programs (design to prototype to production).
  • Working knowledge of government contract types.
  • PMP certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more space flight programs, ensuring successful execution.
  • Drive program performance to meet commitments, including ownership of cost, schedule, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with critical path, milestones, and resource loading.
  • Manage labor and non-labor resource plans and forecast staffing needs.
  • Identify engineering resource needs (skill sets, numbers, timing) to support execution.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Finance.
  • Drive subcontractor performance to meet program commitments.
  • Set expectations and align SEIT and broader engineering teams.
  • Maintain risk and opportunity matrix with burn-down plans and mitigations.
  • Serve as primary customer interface and oversee program financials.
