Job summary

Trident Systems in Sterling, VA is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex hardware development programs, manage key customer interfaces, and ensure compliance with technical and contractual commitments. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of program management experience, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and rigorous execution of deliverables.

Responsibilities include leading customer engagements, financial management, risk assessment, and cross-functional team leadership. The role supports a culture of continuous improvement and requires strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree OR 4+ years with a master's degree.
• Experience in program management and/or technical project leadership.
• Experience leading hardware development programs in aerospace, defense, or electronics.
• Strong understanding of contracts, SOWs, milestones, and compliance.
• PMP certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer-facing representative for assigned programs.
• Manage all aspects of program execution including cost, schedule, and technical scope.
• Develop and maintain program budgets, EACs, and financial forecasts.
• Build and maintain integrated program schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Lead integrated program teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain.
