Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Program Controls professional to lead program planning and cost analytics for government and commercial contracts. You will develop robust program plans, integrate cost/schedule with large data sets, and drive EAC updates to support decision making.

The role emphasizes leadership of cross-functional teams, data-driven forecasting, and process improvements within the PMO environment.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, project management or other highly analytical field
  • 8+ years of program planning and program finance/business analytics experience for government or commercial customer contracts, or internally funded R&D programs
  • Working knowledge of EVMS along with experience in non-earned value environments
  • Proficiency with leading teams through baseline establishment activities with cost/schedule integration for large data sets, major replans, and formal EAC updates
  • Control account management including budget baselining, reforecasting, variance analysis, monthly progress reporting, managing EACs
  • Experience and comfort with working in ambiguous environments and situations
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Responsibilities

  • Execute Program Planning for various programs within the Blue National Security business unit
  • Develop and maintain accurate program plans integrated with program schedules in Primavera P6
  • Drive cost estimates and EAC updates through data analysis and variance tracking
  • Lead PMO cost management improvements and mentor cost analysts
  • Enable effective business decisions with KPIs and forecasting artifacts
