Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a systems engineer to support the New Glenn Payload Accommodations Program. You will develop, allocate, and verify requirements, and manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience in analysis/design/testing, strong communication, and ability to work in a regulated aerospace environment. Relocation is provided; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field as listed.
• Hands-on experience in analysis, design, or testing.
• Experience writing or consuming requirements.
• Ability to work in teams and lead through influence.
• Experience in system engineering for launch vehicles or regulated industries.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out systems engineering activities per Blue Origin standards.
• Coordinate interfaces between internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop verification plans and strategies for requirements verification.
• Lead gated reviews for New Glenn program and elements.
• Create and maintain system safety documentation (FHA, ASA, FTA, FMECAs).
