Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking a Space Communication Systems Engineer to support and lead space capability studies and IPTs. The role requires satellite experience and the ability to provide technical and programmatic insights in a dynamic team setting.

The candidate will work with Government customer leads, participate in forums, and help analyze system performance, develop requirements, and support acquisition planning. On-site work with potential travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in STEM, Systems Engineering, or Project Management; Bachelor’s and 14+ years experience, Masters 12+ years, PhD 9+ years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Government leads and SMEs in an interactive team environment.
• Participate in forums, IPTs, boards with external partners.
• Assess performance via modeling/simulation; identify risks and support acquisition plans.
• Assist design trade studies; evaluate architectures to meet performance thresholds.
• Coordinate across Government teams to gather requirements and ensure traceability.
• Support requirements development, flow-down, and document preparation for reviews.
• Assist in acquisition planning activities and prepare materials for Government approval.
