Job summary

SAIC seeks an IPT Lead within the NSS sector to provide technical leadership for a multi-disciplinary team working on space/ counter-space engineering for IC and DoD programs from Denver/Aurora, CO. You will mentor SMEs, coordinate with government customers, and deliver timely, high-quality products.

The role involves decomposing complex problems, planning resources, and leading cross-functional teams through mission-critical analyses, with extensive interaction across stakeholders and reviews

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or mathematics with 16+ years of experience; masters or PhD optional.
• In-depth technical expertise in orbital analysis, satellite systems, radar/optical tech.
• Experience briefing and interacting with senior government customers.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship.”

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and analysts in analyses of foreign threat capabilities and space systems.
• Manage IPT tasking, timelines, and deliverables across analysis, threat and phenomenology functions.
• Coordinate with end-customer offices and schedule information needs and product delivery timelines.
• Present technical briefings and risk assessments to government management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of national security space capabilities and counter-space threats.
