Job summary

LV8D Solutions LLC is seeking a Space Communication Systems Engineer to support SETA activities, lead space capability studies, and guide IPTs. You will work with Government leads and subject matter experts to assess architectures, performance, and risks, ensuring traceable requirements and effective acquisition planning.

The role requires extended experience with space communication systems, strong leadership, and the ability to operate in a high-tempo, on-site environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in STEM, Systems Engineering, or Project Management; experience levels vary with degree.
• 10+ years of experience with communication systems.
• Knowledge of national space systems and ground processing networks.
• Strong systems engineering and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead space capability studies and IPTs with Government leads and SMEs.
• Assess performance and modeling results; identify risks to plans.
• Conduct design trade studies and evaluate architectures for required performance.
• Coordinate across Government teams for requirements research, capture, and traceability.
• Support acquisition planning and documentation for Government reviews.
