JOEY Restaurants in Manhattan Beach is seeking a Head Sous Chef to lead a high-volume kitchen and deliver iconic culinary experiences. You will manage labor budgets, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and coach a team to consistently meet our standards.

With 3+ years in culinary roles and California Food Handler certification, you will recruit, train, and develop talent while driving food costs and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience.
• California Food Handler certification or ability to obtain.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering world-class experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team to deliver consistent, iconic culinary experiences.
• Manage labor budgets, food costs, and in-store operations.
• Train and mentor partners to develop technical knowledge and execution.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe prep and cooking areas.
