Job summary

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead high-volume operations at our Indiana location. Hiring immediately, you will oversee shifts, ensure quality, coach staff, and drive guest satisfaction.

We offer competitive pay ($60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year) and a benefits package including health coverage within 30 days, retirement matching, dining discounts, and tuition reimbursement. Prior restaurant management experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of business operations and financials.
• Coach, lead and develop restaurant team.
• Understand POS systems and OpenTable (or other digital/online reservation systems).

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling and planning.
• Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations.
• Understand flavors, aromas, and characteristics of food ingredients.
• Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
