Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage the supplier sourcing lifecycle from RFQs to fulfillment in Decatur, AL. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 6+ years in supplier management, procurement, manufacturing, or construction.
• Working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, and accounting principles.
• Knowledgeable of procurement policies, processes, and handoffs.
• CRM and ERP experience with supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and convert them into RFQs to negotiate pricing and timing.
• Present RFQs to customers and manage the sourcing lifecycle including invoicing and payments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Data Analytics to improve order execution.
• Troubleshoot fulfillment issues with suppliers, deliveries, and customers.
• Foster supplier relationships, negotiate volume discounts, and resolve issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with KPIs and contracts.
• Drive process improvements and automation in sourcing workflows.
• Develop sourcing reports using ERP to analyze trends and opportunities.
• May supervise staff, participate in hiring, and support performance reviews.
