Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior Systems-of-Systems SME Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for PMOD’s integration of complex operational technologies across USBP and CBP. You will apply systems-of-systems engineering and enterprise architecture to ensure interoperable enterprise-level capabilities rather than standalone systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and interoperability.
• Experience leading multi-system integration in federal or mission-focused environments.
• Ability to translate complex issues into actionable executive guidance.
• Experience with enterprise architecture artifacts and governance.
• Citizenship and ability to obtain CBPBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PMOD’s senior systems-of-systems engineering advisor for USBP and CBP initiatives.
• Develop an interoperable, scalable, and sustainable mission capability across programs.
• Apply enterprise architecture and integration best practices to assess system interactions.
• Provide technical leadership for sensors, AI analytics, communications, data platforms, and C2 apps.
• Identify dependencies, risks, constraints, and lifecycle considerations.
• Develop repeatable engineering approaches, reference architectures, and governance processes.
• Coordinate requirements, plans, decisions, and priorities across portfolios and stakeholders.
• Advise leadership on feasibility, costs, and sustainment implications of investments.
