Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an engineer to support the SONAR Hull Arrays team in Systems Engineering from concept through testing and fleet support.

Responsibilities include integrating contractor and government furnished SONAR systems across LAB, LWWAA, HFCA arrays, and collaborating with NAVSEA, Naval Shipyards, NAVY Labs, UARCs and suppliers. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering from concept through hardware/software integration, qualification, testing and fleet support.
• Interface with NAVSEA, Naval Shipyards, NAVY Labs, UARCs, sub-contractors and other EB departments as necessary.
