Job summary

Ultra Maritime in the United States is seeking a capable Electrical Engineer to support ASW hardware development, testing, and production activities. You will work within an integrated product support team and collaborate across engineering disciplines.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of hardware-focused design experience, knowledge of RF, analog/digital design, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Some domestic travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS Electrical Engineering and minimum 2 additional years design experience with a focus on hardware development and implementation.
• Knowledge of analog circuit design, digital circuit design, power electronics, RF, and/or signal processing.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
• Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are only granted to U.S. citizens.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues during production testing and integration.
• Conduct studies, risk assessments, and reviews to ensure compliance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
• Generate engineering change documentation including customer-facing documents for hardware changes to current production products.
• Support transition to production activities for programs completing the development phase.
• Perform simulation, analysis, and testing to validate electrical designs for performance and reliability.
• Support design engineering for cost reduction, testing, and prototyping activities.
