Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Solutions Integration Engineer to join its Professional Services team and help generate and implement B2B integrations with our IoT platform. You will map customer needs to API capabilities, build custom integrations, and mentor teams to follow best practices.

This remote role supports US-based customers (excluding SF Bay, NYC, and DC metros) and collaborates across product, operations, sales, and engineering to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in gathering data integration requirements and translating into technical designs.
• Expert-level Python, REST APIs, and Webhooks with scalable integration patterns.
• Hands-on data warehousing, SQL/NoSQL, data modeling, and data pipelines.
• Proven customer engagement and ability to mentor engineers on integrations.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern Agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of enterprise-grade, scalable B2B integrations.
• Architect integrations using APIs, Webhooks, and connectors.
• Provide guidance and training to implementation teams and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales to align roadmaps with customer needs.
• Mentor engineers to establish robust integration standards.
