Job Summary

The Workday Developer manages a portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports via the Workday cloud ERP platform. The role requires strong experience in financials and HCM in ERP implementations, with at least one Workday Finance and HCM implementation, demonstrating proficiency with the Workday toolset while prioritizing quality, security, and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, including report creation and analysis.
• Manage and develop reports, conduct data analysis, and perform root cause analysis for issues.
• Configure and support Workday Finance and other modules such as Customers, Projects, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
• Maintain data integrity during transformations and transmissions.
• Support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionalities.
• Assist with bi-annual system upgrades.
• Serve as the primary support contact with Workday, managing communications with Workday Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, financial reporting, or technical financials.
• Workday Pro certification is highly preferred.
• Background in Financial or ERP/Workday Financials strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Workday Finance modules and integrations, such as VNDLY or Adaptive Planning, is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with data quality, transformation, and SaaS integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Boomi).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate ownership and teamwork.
• Proficiency in Workday technologies like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Report Writer.
