Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will drive profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Your specific responsibilities include:

  1. Learning the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, use cases, value proposition, and competitive positioning, through training and self-study.
  2. Implementing the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, meeting sales quotas, and staying informed of sales strategies.
  3. Managing assigned accounts to support a healthy sales pipeline, including researching contacts, building calling lists, making calls, and maintaining CRM data.
  4. Promoting new account development, conducting prospecting calls, participating in industry events, and delivering group presentations.
  5. Growing existing customer business by staying informed of client needs and conveying the value of WK solutions.
  6. Contributing to new product development and issue resolution by identifying gaps and working with Product Managers.
  7. Increasing TAA market share by identifying opportunities within target accounts and engaging at management and executive levels.
  8. Managing time effectively to accomplish sales goals, including scheduling and grouping activities geographically.
  9. Collaborating with colleagues on strategies and marketing information.
  10. Addressing account/channel conflicts with other sales personnel and managers.
  11. Developing an Annual Business Plan with pipeline forecasts, updates, and reports, and participating in weekly communications.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of software/SaaS field sales experience without a degree.

Experience
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including software, SaaS, or content sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and developing business plans.
  • Experience in prospecting, presentations, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Skills & Certifications
  • Proficiency in consultative sales approaches.
  • Ability to work independently within a matrix organization.
  • Previous sales awards and formal sales training preferred.
  • Flexible work schedule and strong facilitation skills.
Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750.
