Snowflake is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer for Observe to serve as the primary technical resource for the Sales team. You will drive the technical closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of Observe to prospects, design and manage POCs, and deliver compelling demonstrations while collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to capture customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the software industry.
• Deep technical understanding and practical experience with observability concepts (metrics, logging, tracing) and tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Technical Discovery and Presentation: conduct in-depth sessions and deliver demos tailored to customer needs.
• POCs: design, scope, manage technical evaluations and demonstrate value.
• Sales Team Support: collaborate with Account Executives and act as the technical SME.
• Feedback and Product Collaboration: relay customer needs to Product/Engineering teams.
• Content and Training: develop collateral, demo environments, and train the Sales org.
• Travel: ability to travel to client sites and events.
