Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for Observe to be the primary technical resource for our Sales team. You will drive technical closure by demonstrating the value of Observe to prospective customers, combining deep observability expertise with a customer-focused approach.

The role requires a strong background in metrics, logging, tracing, and cloud-native tech, plus excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in software.
• Deep observability knowledge: metrics, logging, tracing.
• Cloud-native tech and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth technical discovery and product demonstrations.
• Design, scope, and manage technical evaluations and POCs.
• Collaborate with Sales to drive technical strategy throughout the cycle.
• Represent customer voice to Product & Engineering for feedback.
• Create and maintain technical collateral and training for sales.
