Job summary

C Spire is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as a senior technical expert, supporting sales opportunities and translating business needs into scalable network, cloud, and managed services solutions. You will own technical discovery and design across complex customer environments to ensure implementable, well-documented designs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Sales and Engineering, delivering product demonstrations, and mentoring others while representing C Spire at customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering or telecom, or equivalent.
• At least five years in telecom, IT, or network engineering.
• Experience in pre-sales discovery, design, and customer presentations.
• Experience designing complex multi-site networks, SD-WAN, DIA, Wi‑Fi, VoIP/SIP.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer objectives and translate into scalable network and cloud solutions.
• Design managed cloud, network, DIA, SD-WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VoIP/SIP solutions for enterprise clients.
• Create topology diagrams and implementation-ready documentation.
• Provide technical demos and guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions to delivery.
