Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in the United States with deep expertise in injection molding to serve as a trusted advisor. You will lead technical discovery, map customer needs to Xometry solutions, and advocate for manufacturing outcomes with both engineers and executives.

You will collaborate across sales, product, and engineering, demonstrate capabilities including our quoting platform, and travel up to 20% to engage with clients and industry events.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing and process background in injection molding and related processes.
• Strong communication skills with both engineers and executives.
• Experience preparing technical solutions within business proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with Sales to uncover business and technical requirements.
• Be the technical liaison between molding teams and the customer.
• Consult with prospects to identify applications and build a business case.
• Demonstrate capabilities including the software quoting platform.
• Collaborate with product, sales, quoting, and engineering to relay customer insights.
• Represent Xometry at events, webinars, and within the injection molding community.
• Serve as the internal go-to expert on molding processes and tooling.
