Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Injection Molding to act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, pairing technical depth with business acumen to propose solutions to real manufacturing problems. Working with the Sales team, you'll be the technical voice in the room—anticipating objections and helping customers get to the right manufacturing solution faster.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Plastics preferred).
• 5-7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or technical roles.
• Experience with injection molding and related processes.
• Strong presentation and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with Sales to map requirements to Xometry solutions.
• Be the technical liaison between molding teams and the customer.
• Consult directly with prospects to identify applications and build business cases.
• Demonstrate Xometry's capabilities, including our software quoting platform, to engineers and executives.
• Partner with product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams and feed customer insight back into the business.
• Represent Xometry as an industry thought leader at events, webinars, and in the injection molding community.
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities.
