Job summary

Xometry, a leading on-demand manufacturing marketplace, seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer specialized in injection molding. You will bridge customer needs with engineering capabilities, guiding opportunities from discovery to quoting and order execution.

You will work alongside Sales and engineering teams, travel up to 20% as needed, and represent Xometry at events. A mechanical/plastics engineering degree and 5–7+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related technical degree.
• 5-7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or technical field.
• Experience in injection molding or related processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with Sales to map requirements to Xometry solutions.
• Be the technical liaison between molding teams and the customer.
• Consult directly with prospects to identify applications and build business cases.
• Demonstrate Xometry's capabilities, including our software quoting platform, to engineers and executives.
• Partner with product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams to feed customer insight back into the business.
• Represent Xometry as an industry thought leader at events, webinars, and in the injection molding community.
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities.
