Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for Injection Molding in the United States. You will serve as the technical voice in sales discussions, aligning molding capabilities with customer needs and guiding them to optimal manufacturing solutions.

You will collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams, demonstrate capabilities, and travel up to 20% to support opportunities and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with 5-7+ years in engineering/ manufacturing
• Experience in injection molding and related processes
• Strong communication and presentation skills with executives
• Ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Customer-facing consulting experience in manufacturing settings

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with Sales to uncover business and technical requirements and map them to Xometry solutions
• Be the technical liaison between molding teams and the customer
• Consult directly with prospects and customers to identify the right applications of Xometry's technology and build the business case
• Demonstrate Xometry's capabilities, including our software quoting platform, to engineers and executives
• Partner with product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams and feed customer insights back into the business
• Represent Xometry as an industry thought leader at events and webinars
• Serve as the internal go-to expert on injection molding and related processes
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities
