Job summary

Klaviyo is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead technical strategy in high-stakes Mid-Enterprise deals, owning solution design and guiding customers through complex architectures. You'll work as a trusted advisor to both customers and the sales team, using AI and automation to scale impact and demonstrate Klaviyo's value across marketing tech, CDPs, and eCommerce integrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Solutions Engineering or pre-sales leading technical strategy in 6–7 figure enterprise deals.
• 4+ years with Python, JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React), REST APIs and SQL.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools and patterns like MCP.
• Strong domain knowledge in marketing automation, CDPs, eCommerce analytics, or data engineering.
• Advanced discovery and requirements gathering with multi-stakeholder environments.
• Executive presence with strong communication skills across audiences.
• Ability to handle objections and deliver strategic insights.

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy for the most complex opportunities and navigate multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Drive advanced technical discovery to identify differentiators.
• Host workshops aligning solutions to business outcomes with executive presence.
• Architect and execute Proof of Value plans to win on technical grounds.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on deal strategy and competitive intelligence.
