Job summary

Summit Broadband seeks a Solutions Architect in Southwest Florida to drive pre and post sales technical activities. You will be the SME for voice, data, video, and networking opportunities, guiding products and designs while maintaining customer relationships.

You will gather inputs, design cost-effective solutions, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure project success. Occasional travel to other markets is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years telecommunications experience in broadband services.
• Expertise in network design, routing, switching and WiFi networks.
• Knowledge of OSP fiber design and scalable networks.
• Industry certifications preferred (BICSI, JNCIA, CCDA, MCSE).

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post sales consultation and assist the sales team in the discovery process.
• Gather data from the customer and design/test XGSPON and WiFi networks.
• Develop business cases with Sales Team and present solutions to customers.
• Manage transition from design to implementation with coordination from Project Coordinator.
• Deliver training sessions and stay current with OEM/vendor offerings.
