Summit Broadband is seeking a Commercial Network Technician Lead to coordinate a team of technicians, install and maintain network equipment, and support commercial and VIP customers.

The role combines field work, customer interaction, and project management in Central and Southwest Florida, ensuring reliable IP/MPLS services and documented birth certificates for the network. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• HFC testing and performance measurement are required.
• Proficiency in CLI testing and repair is expected.
• Ability to configure CPE and network access equipment.
• Experience provisioning circuits for networks and customers.
• Lead on network equipment installations and OSP CPE deployments.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel and support commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians; install and maintain network equipment.
• Document and manage IP/MPLS network infrastructure.
• Interface with business and VIP residential customers.
• Perform system tests and troubleshoot service issues.
• Coordinate break/fix and optimization activities.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory requirements.
