Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead the most complex strategic customer engagements within the Digital Native Business. You will own executive relationships, define consumption strategy, and act as the definitive technical authority for your accounts.

You will mentor junior SAs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate technical architecture into business outcomes that drive platform adoption and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical roles.
• Expert-level coding in Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark; live coding/live platform build expected.
• Deep enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, real-time, lakehouse, governance.
• Expert Databricks Platform knowledge or equivalent depth on competing platforms.
• Declared technical specialization with real-time, ML/AI, migrations, or industry solutions.
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts.
• Executive presence to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders on data/AI strategy.
• Experience leading competitive displacements and complex enterprise evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for the organization's most complex customer engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships — trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead the most complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems, AI/ML at scale.
• Operate as an Expert on the Databricks Platform with a declared archetype, mentoring others.
• Develop and execute competitive strategies for customers, positioning Databricks against incumbents.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Coach and develop junior SAs on depth, engagement, and use-case prioritization.
• Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership through customer-facing content and workshops.
