Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead and influence our most strategic customer engagements. You will own executive relationships, drive consumption strategy, and serve as the definitive technical authority across accounts.

You will mentor teams, shape platform adoption, and craft competitive positioning while coordinating across DSAs, SSAs, Partners, and Product to deliver high-impact, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent senior role.
• Expert-level coding in Python and SQL; Spark/PySpark
• Deep enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, streaming, lakehouse
• Declared technical specialization with recognized depth
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth in large accounts

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for our most complex engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships with executives.
• Lead the most complex architecture engagements across multi-workload and migrations.
• Mentor junior SAs and drive horizontal impact across teams.
• Develop competitive strategies and position Databricks against rivals.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Coach and develop junior SAs on depth and prioritization.
• Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership through content and sessions.
