Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to own the end‑to‑end technical design of ASCS solutions, connecting customer commerce stacks to Amazon’s supply chain network. You will build proofs of concept, write sample code, and guide senior customers through architecture decisions at scale.

You will travel up to 25% to customer sites and industry events, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and shape reusable patterns that accelerate future engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to businesses, owning end‑to‑end design of solutions connecting commerce stacks to ASCS.
• Architect and build integrations across the ASCS portfolio using REST/GraphQL APIs, SP‑API, EDI, OAuth, webhooks; produce sample code and POC.
• Own design trade‑offs, evaluate architectures, and remediate issues.
• Run technical discovery and deliver architect‑level outputs: assessments, design documents, diagrams, code, runbooks.
• Own engagement lifecycle from requirements to post‑launch monitoring to production readiness.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, product, and engineering to influence product roadmap and capture best practices.
