Job summary

Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to own end-to-end technical design of how a customer’s commerce stack connects to Amazon’s network. You will build integrations, speak with CTOs and VPs, and create working proofs of concept that de‑risk complex deployments.

You will produce reference architectures, runbooks, and design documents, travel up to 25% for customer sites and conferences, and help shape ASCS offerings with reusable patterns and best

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across technology domains (software, cloud, systems, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to senior customer leaders (CTO, VP of Engineering) on scalable performance.
• Architect and build integrations across the ASCS portfolio using REST/GraphQL, SP-API, EDI, OAuth, webhooks, and data mapping; produce sample code and POCs.
• Own design trade-offs and evaluate architectures to remediate issues and optimize solutions.
• Produce architect-level deliverables: technical assessments, integration design documents, diagrams, POC code, and runbooks.
• Own the full engagement lifecycle from requirements scoping to post-launch monitoring and production readiness.
• Collaborate across customers, partners, product, and engineering to shape ASCS offerings and influence roadmaps.
• Capture best practices and create reusable content (reference architectures, accelerators, sample code) to accelerate the team.
