Job summary

Verizon is seeking an SD&E Solutions Architect to serve as a trusted technical adviser for Global Solutions opportunities. You will lead multi-tower designs and collaborate with Sales Engineers, Client Partners, and clients, serving as the definitive design authority on complex, high-visibility deals.

You’ll drive SIP/VoIP design engagements across UCaaS, Direct Routing and related transformations, ensure QoS over WAN/LAN/SD-WAN, and deliver detailed design artifacts to guide downstream teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience is required.
• Two or more years of Architecture Design experience.
• Experience with wireline and cellular wireless services (data & voice) cloud, managed services IT, security, or mobility solutions.
• IP Data Networking experience (routing, switching, load balancing, high availability).
• Certifications or advanced IT degrees are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution definition and design engagements with Sales Engineers, Client Partners, and clients in Field 1 and Field 2; serve as the design authority on complex, high-visibility opportunities.
• Deliver timely, detailed design artifacts that guide downstream implementation and support teams.
• Foundational SIP and VoIP design engagements into UCaaS, Direct Routing transformations.
• Ensure voice and collaboration architectures integrate with QoS over WAN/LAN/SD-WAN.
• Provide feedback to product teams to develop repeatable customer-driven solutions.
