Job summary

Verizon is seeking an SD&E Solutions Architect to act as a trusted technical adviser for Global Solutions clients, leading multi-tower UCaaS and Direct Routing initiatives. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers and Client Partners to craft comprehensive solutions and artifacts.

This mobile role requires working from customer or field locations with occasional Verizon visits for training. Scheduled hours are 40 per week, with opportunities to influence revenue and product strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
Four or more years of Architecture Design experience.
Experience with wireline and cellular wireless services, cloud and managed IT solutions.
IP Data Networking experience (routing, switching, load balancing, high availability).

Responsibilities

Lead solution definition and design engagements with Sales Engineers, Client Partners, and clients in Field 1 and Field 2.
Serve as the definitive design authority on complex, high-visibility sales opportunities.
Deliver timely, detailed design artifacts that become the blueprint for implementation.
Ensure voice and collaboration architectures integrate with QoS over WAN/LAN/SD-WAN.
Provide feedback to product teams to develop repeatable customer-driven solutions.
