Job summary

Verizon is seeking an SD&E Solutions Architect to lead multi-tower UCaaS and VoIP design projects for Global Solutions, collaborating with Sales Engineers, Client Partners, and customers in Field 1 and Field 2. You will deliver clear design artifacts and drive efficient SAR processes.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in architecture design, experience with wireline/wireless services, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
Four+ years of architecture design experience.
Experience with wireline and cellular wireless services, cloud, managed IT services, security, or mobility solutions.
IP data networking experience (routing, switching, load balancing, high availability).

Responsibilities

Lead solution definition and design engagements with Sales Engineers, Client Partners, and clients in Field 1 and Field 2. Midmarket and Partner segments. Serve as the definitive design authority on complex opportunities.
Deliver timely, compelling, and meticulously detailed design artifacts that serve as the official blueprint for downstream implementation and support teams.
Foundational SIP and VoIP design engagements into UCaaS, Operator Connect, IPIA, and Direct Routing transformations.
Ensure voice and collaboration architectures integrate with broader practice areas, including QoS over WAN/LAN/SD-WAN.
